Ruth (Fishman) Talamo, was a part-time resident of Provincetown and owned The Mystik Moon, an occult shop, along with her sons Larry and Marc.
She was born in Austria, the daughter of Philip and Leah (Chaimowicz) Fishman. She graduated with a degree in education from Hebrew Teachers College of Boston and owned and operated a Montessori School for kindergarten children, retiring several years ago.
As a teenager in Israel she was a resistance fighter for Israeli independence. She was a well-known psychic and author of two books, Psychic Card Reading and the most recent of which titled “Tzedakah,” a book for children. She had her own psychic cable TV show in the Boston area.
