The Ghosts of My Friends is a vintage parlor game, in book form, assembled by Cecil Henland at the start of the 20th century. Instead of traditional signatures, friends sign the book in wet ink and fold the page over; as the ink transfers, it creates a symmetrical, eerie Rorschach-like ink blot that resembles a "ghost" of the original signature, and these keepsake books are artifacts of early 20th century interest in psychology and the exploration of character and personality.
