Young, Boston 1791. 16mo full brown sheep, 1st American ed. lacking spine back, lacking frontis, heavy wear to boards, Fair. 137 pp. The title page includes a second volume, Memoirs of Mons. et Madame du F, which in the American edition was published separately. On the title page is the signature of George R. Minot (noted to be 1895) ( recipient of the Nobel Prize for Physiology in 1937) and also his great great grandfather Geo. R. Minot (noted to be 1792). Bookplate of Minot family. Rare in any state.
